Praises on Bodhicitta 41 – 45

(41)
When one is free of selfishness,
Anxieties and ailments resulting from suspicion will cease.
When one is considerate of others,
All sentient beings will rejoice.

(42)
Among the vast expanse of sentient beings,
For those who revile or defame you,
Treasure and cherish them particularly more than others.
That Bodhicitta aroused would be the most sacred.

(43)
The preeminent Cakravartī,
Hasn’t even dreamed of Bodhicitta himself,
Yet Bodhicitta’s merits,
sanctity and blessedness, hitherto I have come to recognize.

(44)
Having Bodhicitta at heart,
One may accomplish even without relying upon the generation and completion stages;
Same as having Cintamani,
One may live without other treasures like gold and silver.

(45)
The wonderful jewel of Bodhicitta,
its preciousness is indescribable even by the wise;
Like the wish-fulfilling Cintamani,
its preciousness is incomparable amongst the trailokya.
