The Spirit of Buddhism
All religions have something in common, which is to persuade people to do good and dissuade them from doing evil, but most religions still respect people the most when it comes to the conclusion.
However, the Buddha taught not only to respect people, but to respect all living beings, so Buddhism is still different from other religions.
Buddhism does not respect its own sect, but respects all sects. Treating you and me equally is a very unique teaching in Buddhism.
