I Have Found the Prophecy of Me

H.H. Patrul Rinpoche wrote in one of his treatises the following:

Hustle into Buddhist rituals and repentance ceremonies in Dharma garments during the day;
Booze and fight for women’s affection at night;
Commit every possible evil deed yet boasting with relish;
Self-proclaim as the one who propagates Buddha Dharma;
A human facade but a beast at heart without shame;
Whoever sees him would shed tears.

Certain spiritual teachers of the present-day,
Fawn upon and flatter the rich and powerful,
Follow the mundane ways and abandon the path to Buddhahood,
Give away the precious Buddha Dharma as mere favor.

Having read H. H. Patrul Rinpoche’s treatise, I turned to look at myself, only to find that I lacked none of the above. His Holiness, a true mastermind with miraculous foresights!
