The Fundamental Requirements for Becoming an Arya
In terms of concealing evil of others, the anagārika surpasses them all. Like Khenchen Baima Lodro of Chalang Monastery, His Holiness never in his life, talks about others’ faults.
In terms of not flaunting one’s own merits and boasting about Terma, H.H. the Fourth Dodrupchen Rinpoche outshines them all. The arya, except when it is for the benefit of the greater sentient beings, he has all his own merits buried in his heart, never mentioning a word.
Hope that everyone can emulate the virtuous, and consider these two as exemplary aryas.
