Important Notice
The Buddha’s teachings in general, and the Nyingma tradition of the old translations and the Dzogchen tradition in particular, are especially obliged towards His Holiness Dodrupchen Rinpoche, the source of bliss for all sentient beings, and the light in the Age of Darkness, for his impeccable teachings and immense kindness.
Our lack of fortune has borne us the irreparable loss of H.H. Dodrupchen Rinpoche, who was the eye and heart of us disciples. On the twenty-third day of the eleventh month of the year 2148 of the Tibetan calendar, His Holiness passed away and opened our eyes to the impermanence of everything.
The teachings of the Buddha Dharma in general, the Nyingma tradition of the old translations in particular, and moreover, the Dzogchen tradition face a huge loss.
His devotees will keep on praying from the bottom of their hearts with unchangeable faith.
After His Holiness’s demise, his disciples will confess their sins and accumulate merits for His Holiness’s ten Bhumis and five paths to overcome obstacles. The only method we have now is to pray, confess negative actions and offering pujas (Tsog).
The Taiwan Palyul Tarthang Dharma Centers’s disciples and Palyul Tarthang Choktrul Rinpoche will do pujas, chant the hundred syllable mantra, do Drimed Shagyud, Minling Dorsem and Shitro Samten pujas and do Lama Chodpa for until fourty nine days for the wish fulfilment, swift rebirth and unmistakened reincarnation of H.H.
We feel deeply grieved by the passing of H.H. Dodrupchen Rinpoche and our hearts go out to his helpers and disciples.
