The only thing that we can truly have

The only thing that we can truly have is the advent of death. It surely awaits us ahead and will never disappoint. This is something that no demon can obstruct; it cannot be stopped, not even if all Buddhas in the ten directions stood hand in hand to form a barrier. Therefore, we must plan properly for a good death starting right now.

Do good things. Recite Buddha names. Respect karmic cause and effect. Aspire for all sentient beings to be free of suffering and gain happiness. If you do these things, I can’t guarantee that you will definitely go to the Western Pure Land Sukhavati, but a good death is absolutely guaranteed. Your fate in the next life will also be good — these I can guarantee!

Please don’t let these words go easily. Think about them carefully. Thank you!
