“2. Whenever I’m in the company of others,
I will regard myself as the lowest among all,
And from the depths of my heart
Cherish others as supreme.”

When getting along with others, be it men, animals, ghosts or deities, if you can treat them with an attitude of “you are superior to me, and I am inferior to you,” then it will save any discord or bitter feud from happening.

Therefore, if you could please reverse the attitude to which you have been so accustomed, the attitude of “I am superior to you, and you are inferior to me,” then you will be on the right track.
