Self-vigilance

A despicable person like me can treat a guru who I’ve never seen as true Buddha, saying that the guru knows.

But to my rtsawi lama who has offered me the empowerment, taught me the key of understanding Buddha Dharma, and explained the Tantra Way to me, l don’t consider him as a good person, let alone regard him as Buddha. I just think that it’s a pity if I don’t receive this master’s superior inheritance.

When there is a slight conflict between what I do and the guru, I think that either the guru is too garrulous, or his moral standing is not very good in spite of his good practice, or his knowledge is shallow, or his appearance is not very solemn.  Because of this, even when praying to the guru, I pray without any sincerity.

Especially when I cannot understand the liberation phase of my guru’s body, speech, mind, merit, career, etc., I think that some of the guru’s actions do not correspond to the Buddhist Scriptures, and they are also contrary to the Tantras.  So I often drink tea, cross my legs, and make a lot of comments of him.

After thinking about this carefully, I realize that it is a big taboo in terms of secularism. Moreover, in terms of Tantric Buddhism, it is also a serious violation of the samaya-bond of body, speech, and mind. However, I do this often, unconsciously. My behavior like this is undoubtedly too silly!
