True and Heartfelt Confession to my Guru
My guru of great grace,
Tenpay Wangchuk Rinpoche
You are the treasure in my heart,
the light for my mind.
You are the idol I worship.
You are the subject I pray to.
You are whom I tell all my sorrow and happiness.
Lama Khen, Lama Khen, Lama Khen
You are my eyes.
Your hands,
are the lifesaving robes I grip
when falling off the cliff.
Your smile,
is the greatest comfort
when I am void inside.
Your pithy instructions,
are the best cure for me
to depart from suffering
and attain bliss in the turbulent samsara.
Every time when I think of you,
I cannot hold up my tears.
Often I remember the times we drink together,
while joy fills fully in my heart.
Often I remember the times
when you give me pithy instructions,
While now peace stays in my mind,
with great confidence.
You have released and saved uncountable lives,
emanating actions of bodhisattva.
In my heart, you are the bodhisattva.
After reading your masterpieces,
I believe even more steadfastly that
you are the Primordial Buddha.
In my mind, you were never mankind,
you are the Buddha.
Lama Khen, Lama Khen, Lama Khen
No matter which realm of akanishtha you are in,
You are looking at me from the above
with your infinite compassion and merciful eyes,
Listening to my crying and praying,
Knowing everything in my mind.
I believe.
I await you in this way.
Lama Khen, Lama Khen, Lama Khen
I think of you,
pray to you,
cry for you,
worship you,
offer to you,
remember all your great grace to me.
You are my only refuge.
You are bestowing great compassion
and mercy on me all the time.
I believe,
Your great compassion,
is as unlimited as the akasha.
Lama Khen, Lama Khen, Lama Khen
I rely on you when alive
I rely on you after death
