Masters who are still breathing
The great masters, debaters, philosophers, the enlightened ones, those carrying yellow mala beads, and those who clap their hands in debate, all of the above in Tibetan Buddhism who are still breathing,
To the Esteemed Nyingma Lineage Holders
Just a few months ago, I put forth the “Six Dialectics on Awareness”, but to my chagrin, no one has fully answered my questions.
Why is that the case?
Praises on Bodhicitta 81 – 88
The merits of Bodhicitta,
So wonderful and inconceivable;
How shall one practice Bodhi,
Study Bodhicaryāvatāra in detail.
Praises on Bodhicitta 76 – 80
Attaining the enlightenment of Prajna,
Is one aspect of Bodhicitta;
The five kinds of visions and six supernatural powers,
All derived from Bodhicitta.
Praises on Bodhicitta 71 – 75
Possessing the bliss of Bodhicitta,
Albeit without the fortunes of nagas,
Nor the august power of the Brahma,
One still stands atop of men and devas.
Both the Wise and the Fool Are Human, and Shall Be Treated Equally
The wise shall not be led on by the fool. This is the primary principle of being a wise man. However, he shall not in turn criticize or show contempt for the fool either.
The Standards of Wisdom
One is to be a candid and genuine person, who speaks the truth. Having met this basic condition, one can bravely point out the chaos outside. This is called the definition of wisdom.
The Standards of Foolishness
Cannot take in meaningful words, yet strongly believe in nonsensical rumors. This is the characteristic of foolishness.
Praises on Bodhicitta 66 – 70
Violate Bodhisattva Vow,
Repentance can clear and pay off;
Golden urn though broken,
Can still be recast.
Thanks for the Teacher’s Affirmation and Encouragement
Today, I sent my greetings to my teacher Khenchen Pema Sherab through lama Urgyen’s WeChat: “Happy New Year. I have recovered already.”
